SODA Labs Objectives
SODA Labs are experimental service of SODA for the Digital Industry Forum members. SODA Labs design responds to needs identified by the New Zealand Trade and Enteprise sponsored study of the regional digital industry that was completed by Petr Adamek of the Berman Group in April 2011. Participating CEOs of digital firms expressed that they would welcome new managed opportunities for professional cooperation.
Specifically, firms were interested in learning more about other relevant digital firms and having more time and freedom to explore how their services, capabilities, market knowledge and other resources can be combined to generate new unique and globally competitive digital solutions.
Therefore we designed a structured mini focus group meeting format with the following objectives:
Objectives
-
Introduce companies to each other in a managed way and create opportunities for digital industry to establish robust internal bilateral collaborative relationships.
-
Provide a learning platform for CEO level management of the regional digital firms to share experience and information about exporting digital products / solutions.
-
Impact individual exporting strategies of firms.
-
Initiate development of integrated solutions to be offered on global markets.
-
Generate long term intra- and inter- industrial commercial partnerships and alliances for exports.
-
Identify cross cutting issues / themes important for improving regional export cooperation and develop regional response to these issues.
-
Iidentify success stories and best practice examples to motivate non participant firms to joinand follow the examples.
-
Develop and test new regionally specific methods of industrial cooperation for higher exports and competitiveness.
